Try CallWave if you share a telephone line between your computer and voice. CallWave lets you know when people are calling you, WHO is calling you, and takes a message that you can listen to while still connected to the computer. You'll need to have busy call forwarding installed on your phone, and there are no customized answering machine recordings in their free service, but... it's still LOTS better than having those callers keep getting a busy signal!
